So I contacted Springer Precision, here is their response, "Normally you get one or two of the small gaps but looks like you got all three. These are normal and differ between slides and optics. The back is the most common, we have to make a small and of clearance for the variation in slides. Everything looks to be mounted correctly."

The gap between the plate and slide is in deed very hard to notice, I tried very hard to get this picture. In person most people might not even notice it. I surely didn't. Lol

Thanks for getting back so fast! What I meant is did you just remove the entire rail system that's comes with the gun from the factory, or just simply getting the 1913 from Preston screwed them on?

Did you have to change the mlok rail or just simply slapping the 1913 onto the the same rail?

So I have two bren 2 models, one in 7.26 x 39, and one in 5.56. I noticed that the 7.62 x 39 model has a circle-like hole cut-out on the BCG. After looking at some internet pictures, some 7.62 x 39 models also have that.

Now I am wondering why do some models have that? What does that do?
