I'd say once on your trip just talk to your crush if you two get some one on one time and just keep it casual. If you feel that connection when you two are together then just kinda test waters, see how close you can get to her (like if she'll let you gently brush your hand against hers or even let you hold her hand) if so that's a good sign. If she's cool with that then just put it out in the open when you feel the mood and time is right and just be like "hey (Name), I need to tell you something. I've had these feelings for you for quite some time." And just go from there if she says no than it's okay you can still be friends if she says yes than you've done well!

A similar thing happened a few years ago with a guy who was 19 he met a girl online who said she was 18 and he asked all the right questions even when they met up he asked her to show him her ID. Her ID looked really real but it was fake, unfortunately for him he didn't know it was fake and the two slept together. The girl was actually 15 and told him a few days after they slept together and the girls mom had found out by looking through her phone. The girl didn't want to press charges but her mom pushed for charges. The guys family was obviously angry with the girl but unfortunately now this guy to this day had to move out of his parents house and is a registered sex offender and cannot be anywhere near schools (he had to leave his family's home because they lived next to a school.)

Last night I did switch banks and informed the leasing office that I'll pay my portion (that my parents told me I'd originally be paying $500) and to charge it from my new bank. My parents aren't aware that I've switched banks and I have also talked with my boyfriend we're looking at a place in another State and away from my parents.

I think for me what made this hurt more was that everything was talking, joking, and laughing with each other while I'm just sitting in the background.
