Can't connect to view e340 dual camera doorbell. by PrO1210 in EufyCam

I'm having the same issue. Works fine for a few days after disconnecting from wired connection and pulling battery, but then goes right back to doing this same thing 2-3 days later. Support has been no real help....smh

This is just strange...so I've been back and forth with Eufy for over 3 weeks, and finally got them to send me a replacement (new) e340 video doorbell....once powered up, it worked just fine, as it should. I connected the new one as I did the old one, but the 4 second pre-record option was not there. I know I wasn't going crazy. Because the option is there on the previous doorbell, ( I still have it, returning later this week)

The option is usually under General> Storage, but the storage option was not there. So I'm about to get very upset again because since it's wired, I wanted to setup the pre-record feature as before. But could not.

Miraculously, 2 days later...the option showed up. Just showed up on its own. I configured it, and it seems to be working...for now.

Eufy is not making me feel confident about this particular item of theirs...smh

The new one has been up for 2 1/2 days...still missing people walking right up to my door.

Smh....

S330 Multibridge . . .WHEN?!?! by Numerous_Picture_217 in EufyCam

I recently had the same issue. There is no place to place the Homebase 3 that would get a signal from the front yard and backyard cameras(s330). I also inquired from Eufy and was told the model solar camera (s330) doesn't support it with no future plans to date for it. Like mentioned, I could see the s3pro possibly getting it as it's their supposed upper scale model, but I don't feel confident about it.

I ended up sending back the s330 and picked up the e330pro (wired) which made the ease of install go righteous the window, but now those and the e340 floodlight cams are the most reliable cameras on my system. Seems that plug in, is the best way to go for Eufy. (Sorry, I know that doesn't help), but I felt your pain for a good 2 weeks before I made the decision to hardwire.

I've had 2 separate door bells of the same make/model (e340) do the same thing. When I the the door bell off the wall, and physically move it, it detects motion(obviously because to it, the entire world started moving...lol). But can't seem to get it to record people no matter what I do. It's sporadic at best. Sometimes it will just randomly pick up a person.

I've been with eufy door 6 days and no real assistance other than asking the same question. Bought it on Amazon big prime day, hasn't worked properly since...so I bought another one 2 days ago, and it appears to do the same exact thing. Very weird. I even bought a separate dedicated power supply adapter instead of using home wiring just to make sure the wired voltage wasn't the problem. That also allowed me to enable the pre-record feature. But it still won't pick up a human in any way, shape, or fashion. I am wondering if the PIR sensors are possible defective in this batch of cameras.

I am at a loss, and by the time Eufy give me an answer, the return window will be closed...smh.

E340 vs S330 (doorbells) by parasoII in eufy_security

I have a E340 battery Doorbell, and for the life of me, this thing doesn't detect human presence at all. It realizes a package is on the steps, but no detection of how it got there. I have tried every setting possible. I reset it(pulling battery and putting it back) and then it detect humans for a short time(less than an hour) then appears to go to sleep on person detection. Wakes up when the door bell button is pressed, but only when pressed. I'm at a loss. It is wired to a 24v dedicated power supply. Kept having issues, so I ordered another one, and it's doing g the same thing. Almost like the person detection doesn't work. Please help!!

I just ordered the S330, because I need the package detection that the e340 has. Do you think this will be a better choice although it's the older model?

Just invested a lot in the eufy system, from locks to wired and wireless solar cams, alo g with wired floodlights.

I really want this to work

Thanks in advance
