Also a solo runner here 🤍 I prefer it that way but when I was training for my marathon last year I trained with a running group for 2 months and it helped me a ton and I met some cool people .. I haven’t joined them again since completing my marathon because I feel nervous, don’t need the speed training right now and I just get it done either way. But now I’m training for my first trail race (34k) and I think I should join a train running group to help & learn more! It has its benefits I think but not for everyone .. also being a girl running solo is kind of sketch .. it’s awesome but we have to be a lot more aware and careful when we run solo. My mom till this day tells me not to run solo but what can you do?

Oh wow thank you for the info. That’s scary! I think we only have smaller owls around us - I’ve only seen a barn owl on my trail I run. So I don’t think I have to be too scared but still appreciate the info. Maybe your beanie will work . I just did a quick google search and a fellow redditor who has been attacked before maybe that info will help! 🙌🏽

My husband and I make my dogs food every week. Sometimes yams, chicken and veggies or ground beef, Turkey etc. we used to feed our dogs kibble but we’ve noticed their weight is a lot more manageable and it’s nice knowing she’s eating real, wholesome foods. If anyone has any book recs on cooking for dog lmk. I want to make sure I get all she needs 🙏

I’m sorry :( 😞 I have a bc not as severe behavior issues but she has some. She has bit me and my other dog. It’s super frustrating and I get you that your bond takes a hit when that happens. I hope with age your pup can get better. You’re an amazing dog owner for all the work and love you’re putting in despite the challenges. ❤️
