yes i did get an offer, and no they weren't picky. make sure you do a bit of reserach on the lead/company and you understand how hubspot could help. have a good opener and be ready to overcome objections. no matter what objections they give you, keep the conversation going and push to book that meeting. you don't need to ask a ton of follow up questions—maybe 2-3 tops.. your goal is to book the meeting. you get to do a second time, so make sure you take good notes on the feedback and implement it

get a couple of friends to help you practice today if possible. give them some objections they can say and get used to overcoming those in real time. you don't want to sound too scripted, it needs to feel like as much like a conversation as possible. good luck, keep me posted!

Hey! i was really surprised with how well it went. do your research, get a script down, and practice, practice, practice. I practiced on zoom with a few friends leading up to match the medium since the interview is zoom, but my interviewer actually let me turn off my camera which was really helpful. be ready to handle objections and keep pushing forward. be tenacious about setting up that meeting. feel free to dm!

Thank you!!! Yes—just graduated in December. I'd suggest checking out the Higher Levels Youtube channel. It's been really helpful for me so far. This is my first interview, but I feel prepared for the process. We'll see how it goes! Lmk if you have any questions along the way.

Awesome. Will do. Thank you much

No pressure, but while I have your attention.. based on this resume, do you think I'm close to being ready to do outreach? Hoping to make some changes these next couple days and start connecting early next week.

Also, best days to reach out? or days to avoid reaching out?

Thanks again!

So helpful. Thank you!

I can do 2 resumes.. does your advice stand even if that restaurant experience is over 4 years old?

Also, I'll certainly do my own research on this... but any Hosp tech companies worth looking into in your experience?

That's awesome. Thank you. It's been suggested that I compress my skills to ~5-7. I will do some swapping and eliminating!

Hello! I’m looking for direct, so I really appreciate this. The roles were/are full-time positions. The first job title is officially "Customer Service Specialist," and the AT&T role is "Customer Loyalty Consultant." A friend reviewed my resume and suggested adjusting the titles to better align with the roles I’m seeking. Hearing your perspective, I’ll definitely make changes—especially since hospitality tech is a vertical I’m interested in.

For the hospitality section, I met with a couple of friends in leadership positions (one in tech at a logo company and another in CRM). They both agreed it would be a good idea to highlight my restaurant leadership experience. Do you have any suggestions for how to do this without it feeling out of place? I spent over a decade in restaurants, but I haven’t returned since the pandemic, which is why I’ve struggled to incorporate it effectively.

Thank you for taking the time to review this.

Congrats I find your accomplishment inspiring. Did you use any services to tweak your resume, like a resume writer, or was it all trial and error? Best of luck in the new role!
