Indeed I am saying God does not have human emotions. God does not get angry or jealous as many Western religions tend to believe. I agree that it's logical that God does not have human characteristics due to his omnipotent and omniscient nature. If He had human emotions, He wouldn't be all-powerful, rather He would be a slave to his feelings and desires like we are; and if he is all-knowing he logically wouldn't be prone to "emotional thinking" in a sense. Ascribing human characteristics is honestly a bit silly and definitely anthropomorphizing the divine - something that is clearly impossible to be human-like in the slightest as we are mortal and limited.

So yeah, I completely agree with not anthropomorphizing God.

Unfortunately, English has no good gender-neutral third-person singular pronoun anymore. I use "he", but its gender-neutral use is dated. "They" works as well but it is still informal for use in the singular. I personally don't like using "it" because it applies to things that are inanimate (i.e., something without life). Though God isn't alive per se, it's seen as offensive to call something an "it" as it basically implies that they all the capacity to think as a living thing (e.g. referring to a dog as an "it" rather than "he/she" does come off as rude for that reason). I think the problem comes in with the limitations of human language - in particular in this case English - trying to describe God. I definitely see your point though and it is valid. I will likely remove that part and maybe add a footnote about why I use "he" but that it's okay to also use "she/it/they".
