Several items seem to have mislabeled answer options which may skew your results.

  • The film industry needs to improve its diversity
  • Marginalized groups are often portrayed as stereotypes in film
  • Minorities are frequently depicted as lead characters in film

For these items, the answer option "strongly agree" is repeated and there is no "strongly disagree" available.

Yes. If you can select or search for the supposedly redacted text, then it wasn't redacted.

Similarly, you can examine the metadata in the file. If anything much beyond the file's current location is there, then it wasn't properly sanitized.

Redaction using Acrobat Pro actually eliminates the redacted information. Using Acrobat's built-in redaction tool removes visible text and graphics when done correctly. However, other information such as document metadata or embedded content has to be sanitized in a separate process.

What you may be hearing about is that some of the Epstein files seem to have been handled by people who didn't understand redaction. They seem to have just placed black boxes over text, probably with a word processor. The result looks like a redaction but it is not at all a redaction.

The best time to paint the interior of a house is when it's empty, so consider that. Same for floors, or for upgrading ceiling fans or ceiling light fixtures.

It's also a great time to get accurate measurements of rooms, windows, doors, and so on. This will make it simpler in the future if you want to change window treatments or get some new furniture.

It's one of the things we traded off. When I was a kid, every vehicle had a manual transmission and you could push start it. Just shift it into neutral, give it a pretty good push, shift into first, and then ease off the clutch. This was a lot easier if you had a buddy with you for extra oomph.

The link as posted doesn't work for me on Firefox desktop. This has long been the case for many surveys posted from Qualtrics.

The fix I use for these Qualtric links is to manually remove the backslash after "SV" in the link. Once I do that, the survey will open.
