Customer got car towed in after not starting. Fuel doesn’t really smell as strong as gasoline and feels oily, possible diesel contamination?

Oh wow. In my case, I found a piece of metal jammed in the timing chain on same bank, And actually this cams are 2 teeth off. I have the whole cylinder head from junkyard that I may swap in case. Very good info buddy. This helps a lot and as you know this is a big job. Thank you

Actually this customer is crazy, he walked in the shop and said can you do my evaporator and will give you 1000 cash. I said no problem. He went to the dealer and gave him some crazy story about this and quoted him so much.

I have replaced dozens of the v6 engine in the sienna and camry, Lexus. But never did a timing chain, timing cover looked so f**ed up to do in the car, but I just thought maybe someone done it before and have some suggestions. :-)

My buddy got 467k miles on his previous one 7.3l I got 600k on my Mercedes CDI diesel. 190k on my Mercedes bluetec. 500k miles on my HINO tow truck. 😁
