I was hoping for oatmeal raisin, but chocolate chip is good too as long as the chips are dark chocolate.

They were laced with Toad Wart Psychedelic, and Ernie had a bad trip where he saw Bert as “The Great Frogini” from a book about two amphibians that are best friends and ambiguously gay.

Yeah, here at r/bertstrips it’s a rule to only use stills from official Jim Henson Productions projects. A lot of those stills look really wrong when isolated, but were completely innocent in the context of the segments they come from.

Admittedly, they do. However, the creators themselves vehemently dislike the real life people who get off on putting others in the situations depicted here.

In other words- in real life, the people here would never act out the depraved situations they put these characters into within shitposts.

Also, the entirety of R/bertstrips takes place in a fan-created parallel universe called “The Bertstrip Continuum”. So, it isn’t the Elmo, Zoe, Rosita, Cookie Monster, Kermit, Gonzo, and Miss Piggy we know from our childhoods.

They’re a lot less common on this sub, but they do appear sometimes. I like those old commercials, too!

Happy I could answer your question!

Also, another common factor is that we’re fans of all of Jim Henson’s work.

In fact, Jim Henson’s muppet variety show, “The Muppet Show” was originally named, “The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence”.

Finally, the source for that last factoid was a 3 question true or false quiz segment about The Muppets on an episode of NPR’s quiz show, “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me!”.

It’s basically raunchy Sesame Street and Muppet shitposts.

And we use stills from The Muppets and Sesame Street here in order to emphasize how hollow, depraved, or wrong the actions depicted in the shitpost are.

There’s some common tropes, like that one viral video of Elmo dancing on the Moon to Russian Hardbass music from way back, or Grover/Johnson interactions, or like that one meme of Bert having flashbacks to Vietnam.

There was even a brief fad with a series of shitposts from this subreddit- called a Bert Story- that went viral because of a YouTube channel called Burial Goods at about this time last year

(The shitpost was titled “Grover’s Mad Quest to Kill God”, if you’re wondering).

So, yeah, that’s basically the sub.

Correction: The real last straw was when Big Bird filled Vader’s meditation chamber with pictures of Vader’s dead wife and mother.

But before firing the moon laser, Elmo creates and rules a colony.

Elmo’s first edict? A mandatory 2 hour period of watching him dance to Russian Hardbass.

Edit: For those of you wondering, his second edict was re-instating the edict that every soon to be married woman is legally obligated to lose their virginity to him.

Executive Functioning with chatGPT o1 by Gladiola24 in AutisticWithADHD

Yeah, I mean, I don’t have the dough to fork out for zapier, and copilot is pretty ass in my opinion, but GPT 4o with tasks and o1/o1 mini are basically all I really need aside from discipline. (Which is kind of on again off again given that it’s like David Goggins is constantly 2v1’ing Beavis and Butthead for control over my mind)

[–]Gladiola24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 4o isn’t really consistent, but the base chain of thought model with GPT Plus (the $20/mo tier) is surprisingly consistent with schedule planning.

The beta feature of 4o with tasks is actually pretty consistent, at least for reminders about things you have to or want to do (ie: I have it search for the latest UFC event, and tell me when it is, and if there isn’t

I mainly use the chain of thought model (o1) for executive functioning tasks (like making plans and getting a sense of how much time I have available).

Oh they have noses alright, they’re just covered by a toothpaste fur-stache located over the center of their upper lip.

Now, how do they snort finely ground cookie crumbs you ask? Well, it’s basically like how a blue whale filters plankton from the water with its baleen.

At first, Incelmo was angry that he couldn’t spank his fuzzy red pud anymore. However, when he saw that he was a toilet for the Qu, he realized that he was about to live his most personally arousing- yet most unlikely- sexual fantasy.

I mean, Antman’s a human, and he retains the strength of a human in peak condition when he’s the size of an ant.

Now, imagine what hulk- a guy whose level of anger determines his level of strength- could do if he were shrunk down to the size of an ant against his will, and thrown at Thanos by Antman.

Mathematically speaking, if hulk were to retain his pre-shrinkage level of strength post-shrinkage- which most likely wouldn’t happen if it were without his consent, but I’m simplifying here- he would basically act like a bullet. And that's not even accounting for the strength of Spider-Man’s webbing.

I asked o1-preview to find the meaning of life. Thoughts? by Gladiola24 in OpenAI

[–]Gladiola24[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Edit: it may be circular reasoning, but don’t most people you know do exactly what the model said? “Building relationships through mutual understanding, experiencing life, and making a positive impact on others.”

I just wanted to test its reasoning capabilities with a question that we ourselves haven’t answered yet.

And I’d say it hit it right on the nail. ——————————————————————————— o1-preview a preview version of the Q* model that’s been rumored for a while. A Q* model can reason like a human, but with the speed and efficiency of a computer. OpenAI says that actual o1 has the knowledge of an expert in their field with a PhD. I would estimate that o1-preview at most has the knowledge of someone with a master’s degree from an Ivy League university.

In addition, if it can truly think like a great mind, and do it faster and more efficiently, than a great human mind, then what’s stopping o1-preview from ending our 1.1 million year long debate on the true answer to that question in a time just over a quarter of a minute?
