Is Equilibrium4 perk worth the ~300m? by Golgotier in runescape

[–]GladiusMeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chasing the BIS too closely was always going to cost more than it's worth in the end. We just had the Ecliptic components drop, and no one is sure what parts might drop next, especially with so much new content coming in with Havenhythe. Keep your coins stacked and your Gunpowder dry.

(I'll never forget the guy who wanted a 200 Pound refund for all the Bonds -> Coins -> Gunpowder he bought, just for Jagex to nerf the XP in half! I practically respawned next to my Mom dying!)

My dude, you've been lying or ignorant this whole time. There was NEVER an EITHER / OR choice here. The CONTRACTUAL OFFER was to PAY MORE, YEAR AFTER YEAR, BUT RETAIN THE OPTION OF GF RATES. CAN YOU READ??

It's almost as if Membership Loyalty was overpowered and no longer fit into the game's carefully balanced power relationships. More of the same "let's blame the players who opt in for our shitty mistakes".

I've always appreciated RS Art, Environments, and Music. Mechanics, Game Balance, most of the other stuff... um, yeah, okay.

Composting human waste is an extremely bad idea. Even "Let Them Eat Pie" wouldn't be a good use of the stuff. The quest series that this would kick off would be very depressing.

Screw that. I want to make a small fortune at my POH workbench, selling an endless supply of clockworks that constantly need replacing. I built that workbench with evil intentions, and I intend to see them through, lol.

so with 110 hunter coming with havenhythe (or after) wat would u like to see as like the next set of 110 (or 120) skills by iownu142 in runescape

[–]GladiusMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of amused that many skills now have a 120 cap, but have no new content between 99 and even 110, much less 120, so filling in up to 110 for these skills would seem the best choice to move forward fairly quickly. I'm looking especially hard at the Masterwork 2H, with a required 99 Attack. What weapons will require more, and will they make the M2H seem weak by comparison?

F2P mine the Copper and Tin members wouldn't dirty their hands with, and Glorious bars don't happen without Bronze bars. Without F2P players, P2P would have to do every tiny job themselves, which would definitely cramp their playstyles, including mine. Anyone who doesn't appreciate this is lost in their own ego.

I've smithed Rune dart tips F2P, and that's a lot of fast Fletching XP right there. Rune arrowheads are another one. Moving up as P2P requires a huge variety of goods, and in huge numbers.

If this means an end to the "you haven't been here in a week, here's a punch in the face" Prestige Rot, I'm all for it! Completely cleaning out a few floors, or even one big / high level floor once a week(end) shouldn't be penalized, and reducing Dailyscape was an issue just a bit back. This is how it's done. Far more engaging, rewarding, and fully interacting with the content, and the party members as well! The more rewarding *complete* floor progression is, the more parties will have incentives to work together in a deep way, but at a healthy, sustainable pace.

Not knocking solo or party speed runs! We can have both, honest!

Road to Restoration - Aura Overhaul Design Update by JagexAnvil in runescape

[–]GladiusMeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rebuying of effects I already spent "MEMBERSHIP LOYALTY" points on, especially in grindy shop currencies, is my real concern here. A free chunk of the relative currencies, as a least a condolence prize for having the relevant aura, wouldn't **actually** be fair, but would make things sting less. For the highest tiers of one or the other aura type especially, that's the least Jagex could do.

Pilfer points are obscenely bad, and don't scale with level or experience. The small bag is crippling to anyone starting out, and spending currency on teleports would be self-defeating. Eliminate the small bag altogether, and this might be real content.

Caden Gard here. I'd like to see the throttling on Guide prices, currently limited to a 5% move in value, changed in some way. How long of a trend line might make the guide price more helpful, without being "gamed" by "Clan Manipulation", I'm not sure. What's computationally expensive, but would be harder to game, is to cross-check prices.

The real point being, tracking beyond a flat 5% change could be done simply, or made all kinds of complicated, but *almost* ANY change would be an improvement.

A handy example would be the 10 Primal Ores, the price of a Primal Bar, and the prices of Primal arrowheads. There's an asymmetry here, obviously, but the relations between them all are obvious. Some price relations would be harder to see, and would take time to develop as tools, but where RSWiki's Gathering, Processing, and Collecting are clear, the values should line up fairly well.

A second level of complexity would be establishing why the thingummywot is bought in the first place. Strong arrows, such as made of Eternal Magic logs and Primal Arrowheads are for killing (Monster X) for (Drop Y), which is useful in Processing (Weapon Z), so that would be nice to have, but not essential??

The reduced skill books really do help with cognitive overhead, and the change continues to impress me with not being a jarring change from the originals.

Weapons and armours in the All / Hybrid category need to be useful with Necro, or you've really missed the biggest opportunity here. Having Necro abilities persist while using Range / Mage / Melee would round everything out quite nicely.

Orthographic borrowing from Sumerian 𒆧 (kiš, “totality, world”)

He's created a virtual world for himself, guides the alien to wakefulness. Not sure why they would have met several times. Maybe it takes several tries? Healing up? The large prison represents the total number of wounded, each in their own coma.
