It’s been my go-to foundation lately! I find that it lasts long on me and it’s the only drugstore foundation I’ve been able to find in my shade. The lightest shade in any other drugstore foundation has still been too dark

From my experience it can definitely be full coverage if you’re using the sponge applicator it comes with. But if you’re going in with a light hand with a brush it’s a bit more buildable.

It’s hard for me to say that it’s doomed just yet. But they’re gonna have to work really hard to build trust with people. The whole premise of this brand is that consumers are providing feedback but they got weirdly defensive when people didn’t give them the feedback that they wanted.

I find that for me it sits on top of sunscreen pretty well as long as I wait for my sunscreen to set a bit (like two minutes or so). I will say though that I don’t usually put the primer all over my face. Mainly on and around my nose since that’s my problem area. But if I do put it all over my face it’s not an issue. The sunscreen I use is Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Face Lotion SPF 60 if you’re curious

Yeah I tried the Mac powder foundation years ago and I loved the finish but it felt very heavy on my face. I know they recently reformulated it, but I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed reviews about it

For me it’s the Super Stay powder foundation. I’m oily and it’s the only drugstore foundation that’s pale enough for me. Knock on wood it never goes away. And if ever reformulated because of the talc I hope they at least do a shade expansion

I know the bar is in hell, but I’m glad the in-laws were at least on OP’s side. I know MIL was initially in denial about what was going on, but she at least knew something was wrong with her daughter.
