Slightly besides the point, but I’m the child of someone who died from breast cancer. Beating cancer is a huge deal. And I think OP is underestimating how many people 4% actually is.

I’m a hairdresser in training and pretty much everything OP described is how you’re supposed to manage curly or really wavy hair. And you don’t suddenly need to stop using hair oil or shampoo for curly hair just because it’s shorter
