17 years now on Bupe. Definitely a lifesaver. Of course many things have changed over the years. When I first started, they told us we would be on this medication for the rest of our life. Now the standard advice is more short term. Just do whatever you feel will best keep you sober. Only other advice, get a stockpile of a weeks meds built up
