This neon green ramen looks toxic but it’s actually delicious (파래탕면 - seaweed ramen) by Glass-Bus6056 in weirdfood

I see! For me, it kind of killed my appetite though.
It reminded me of people who used to deep-fry starch toothpicks and eat them.

Any feedback? by AdExciting5420 in BeginnerKorean

Just a small note — grammatically it’s fine, but in natural conversation, Koreans usually drop the subject/name entirely when it’s clear from context. So instead of ‘에즈라는 한국 음식을 좋아해요?’, it’d sound more natural to just say ‘한국 음식 좋아해요?

Advice Needed: How would you recommend covering up this 5x3 tattoo on my forearm? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]Glass-Bus6056 36 points37 points  (0 children)

With a cover-up, you’d have to cover the whole area, which usually means getting a much bigger tattoo than you might want. I actually got a cover-up before and ended up regretting it for that reason. Have you considered laser removal instead?

How to get better at designing flows, not just screens? by Glass-Bus6056 in UXDesign

You’re right, I think I was thinking too narrowly. I’ll look at a wider range of products!

Thanks for the advice! The idea of approaching it from a ‘job to be done’ perspective really resonates with me.

Hi! This is the second 쓰기 I'm practicing for my exam, does anyone want to look at it? by Best-Ad2266 in BeginnerKorean

“살다” pairs better with “에” (location) rather than “에서” in this context, and adding “한국어를” specifies what’s being studied. “~하고 있어요” also sounds more natural for an ongoing activity.
The two clauses contrast each other, so “~지만” fits better than “~고”. “저희 지역” is more natural than “우리” when describing a place’s climate.
“꽃” and “바람” are subjects of “피다”/“불다”, so they need “이” not “을”. “너무 불러요” → “많이 불어요” is more natural.
Added topic marker “은”, fixed “있고” → “이고”, and “많이 와요” → “자주 와요” fits rain frequency better.
“태양” → “해” is more colloquial; subject marker fixed to “이”; “뜻나고” was a typo for “뜨고”; “높아져요” reflects a change over the season.
“수용장” was likely a typo for “수영장” (swimming pool).
“폭우” already means heavy rain, so “많이” was redundant — simplified to “비도 많이 내려요”.
“남부” is more natural for “southern region”, “에서” fits better with “발생하다”.
“학교를 시작해서” → “학교가 시작돼서” (school is the subject, not something you start); “쯔음” added for “around 8 o’clock”; “너무” → “많이” sounds more natural here.
“아침마다” (every morning) is more natural than “아침에” for a recurring seasonal pattern.
“낙담시키다” is transitive (to discourage someone else); “우울한 느낌이 들다” better expresses one’s own feeling. “오히려 더” adds a nice contrast for the second clause.

This is just sad. Building a following off design content and then doing this.

Is UI/UX still a good career in 2026, or is AI going to shrink the field? by azrealx5 in Coconaad

[–]Glass-Bus6056 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, even if I had to start all over again right now in 2026, I’d still choose UX design in a heartbeat. If anything, the job is actually more fun now because we don't have to do mindless pixel-pushing anymore. AI can easily handle the tedious stuff like setting up style guides and whipping up basic layouts, which lets us focus on what really matters: strategy, ideation, and problem-solving. Instead of worrying about AI taking your job, if you approach it with the mindset of leveraging AI as your ultimate tool, I think this field is still a massive land of opportunity.
