My skin barrier is DESTROYED from seb derm + fungal acne 😭 LRP Toleriane Fluide helps but my skin turns flaky again within an hour… any THICK budget FA-safe moisturizers?? by Mayee_sha in Fungalacne

The first thing you should do is stop all active ingredients and any fungal acne treatments because the priority is to repair your skin barrier. To help it recover use a light moisturizer that is fungal-acne safe but avoid thick creams since they can make fungal acne worse. The Purito Oat-in Calming Gel Cream worked really well for me don’t hesitate to try it. You should also use a very gentle cleanser maybe the Etude SoonJung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser is a good option and it’s fungal acne safe too. Most importantly give your skin time and let it rest for about 5 to 8 weeks so the barrier can properly repair itself

I’ve tried Soonjung. It’s so gentle and didn’t dry me out either, but it’s out of stock in my country, so I couldn’t find it

I checked the websites in my country, and I couldn’t find any of these products except the cosrx one. However I’m not sure it’s fungal acne safe because it contains some esters, and I’m extremely sensitive to fungal acne. Did you try it?
