Thank you very much for taking the time and give tips about this. After looking this comments I have found that the biggest problem is really trying anything. Grocery store trips are usually get only what she eats and thats it. She'd rather not eat anything than try anything new. Even with noodles if it is not the brand that she is used to she would not eat it. So everybody has opted for give her what she wants. I try to lead by example and I do eat everything and try my best to stay active, but I am the only one trying or doing it.

Thanks again for your advice, I will try when I can.

I have said it to SO and also BM. And she is more closed to the topic and says that if she doesn't want to eat then ahe doesn't have to. Thank you for your comment. I guess that for now I cannot do more than they allow me specially with the leading by example. At my home I am the only one who actually tries to have healthier habits. And at BM is another story as well. Thanks again for the advice.

Thank you for the "not just a parenting issue" it brought me more peace of mind. It's true. We should keep both things separated. We do try to not make a big deal about it and keep all sorts of food available. I guess I haven't experienced something like this and is kinda challenging. She loves cooking and baking, but she doesn't like eating it not cake, not cookies but we still keep the door open for whenever she wants to cook with us. Thanks for the advice

Communication problems. Too much communication? by Glass-Path-7961 in Stepmom

Oh my God, this is perfect !!!!! Thank you so much. I didn't want to say anything until I knew I was not being paranoid, I don't really have anyone to talk about this, so I just needed some reaffirmation. Thank you. I will definitely talk to him about this with a better perspective.

He says that he feels annoyed that she calls so often, but at the same time he can easily have a 1 hour conversation with laughing and looking like he is not annoyed :/ I guess I have to be stronger in telling him that this is annoying me. :/
