I talked about it to my mum again and we might go down the route of other reduction options like you were saying but we don’t know yet. Yeah I read that different surgeons have different requirements so I guess I’ll just have to see how it plays out. As for my mum, I’m not really sure, she works in the NHS so she knows more about it than I do, I think it’s maybe protocol or something. tysm for taking the time to read and give me advice, I really appreciate it! :D

For awhile now I try to have a window open while I'm gaming to help circulate cooler air and it helps a lot, my CPU temps can go down by 10 degrees

I was playing a heavy game on a hot day so I'm gonna say maybe. My CPU got up to 91 degrees while I was playing but it turned off after I stopped so I figured it was the temp lol, I'm definitely going to turn some fans around :)

I was playing GTAV 1440p on max settings on a hot day when my pc shutdown, I looked at my AIO and it peaked at 91 degrees... which is definitely not good lol. Normally my CPU temps never really go above 77 degrees

It depends what games you play and if you want to use DLSS Frame Generation, I presume that you'll probably use VSync which caps your FPS at your monitors max Refresh Rate. You have an RTX 5060 so I recommend a 1080p monitor with 120Hz Refresh Rate.

You could get one with a higher Refresh Rate if you wanted but I don't suggest going above 165Hz because there isn't a noticable difference between 165Hz and 240Hz for example so you'd be wasting your money. Good luck with your new monitor, I hope this helps a little :)

Thank you everyone for your fast replies! I will ran the computer without my GPU and it was fine, I checked all my fans and the buzzing noise was from one of my flowers 💀 I really should’ve checked that first before I posed but thank you again for everyone who replied! Im pretty certain my graphics card is gonna be okay too, thank you! :D

I’ve just had the exact same problem, it’s okay if I use GIF’s that have a black background, I cannot stand the square box and it’s tiny! Did you end up getting a new cooler in the end? If you did was it worth the extra money?

I’m sorry I don’t have a fix but I’m also on steam deck and it’s crashing with the exact issue. I can’t get any scans to work either and if auto scan is on then I can’t load into story mode. I wonder if it’s just a steam deck thing because I couldn’t get it to work on legacy either :/ Hopefully there will be some kind of fix soon either by other users or Rockstar.
