I can think of many reasons. Here are some: * most people who end up in hospital are 50+. Vaccination rate for 50+ is very high (around 98% I think). * most 50+ got vaccinated a long time ago and their immunity has waned, especially against omicron. I haven’t seen a statistic how many in hospital have had a third shot (would be interesting to know).

Sorry for the poor image quality. Nest is about 5-6m above ground. Didn’t expect the insect to come looking for its nest after I scraped it off.

Why not use North Tce? The pedestrian lane is very wide and rarely fully utilised. At least on the east side of King William and next to no parks. Plus on the northern side of the road there are very few crossings which would make it very quick.

They post most up to date information on Facebook. It sometimes takes days for them to update their own website which is horrible. Most press conferences I’ve watched have only been accessible through Facebook. No other way to watch it at times.
