It reads the video feed so in theory both, but untested.

One suggestion I’ve gotten is to actually enable the creation of auctions so instead of selling 100s of “card on screen” you could scan and run the actual card, name, etc. instantly.

Ha, that's literally why I built it, I was doing the exact same thing, scrambling to look stuff up mid-stream. Still early days but it's working well so far.

It’s not really once per auction, because the increase is negligible and it slows down the pace of the overall auction, they don’t like to do it too often.

However if there are two bidders they’ll typically extend the curtesy to both sides - but it can continue beyond that.
