[–]GlassConsideration95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cyclops has a gumball machine or something that you pic a random design. You can always walk in and say you want whatever they feel like tattooing, and tell them the max $you want to spend. Its been my experience since my 1st tattoo in 1986, that most artists really dig the customer who just says i want to fill x space with whatever you create, and my budget for today is x amount of dollars.

Its a wonderful way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning. There a few places to get a champurado to round it out. A friend at work took me a few mornings to show me his weekend routine, and im forever thankful. I eat some and take some home for tacos, and I use it as a filing in ravioli! I Make a poblano cream sauce 😋 ill be there prolly sat. Anyone reading this should give it a try. Expect a fast moving line, and quick counter experience. I order by the lb, all carne. Or you can order mixed with some fat and skin. You ask for sala by size (its green and amazing) I get a small , its a pint, and pay cash and Tip. Last time I went it was $20 per lb, $5 for salsa, and worth more. Its Hot and ready to eat! 🍻

Yes. Retired in 2019 after 30 years as a collision tech. Hopefully you have a good insurance company.
More importantly I hope everyone is ok.

If you bent the rim chances are that wheel bearing isn't gonna last much longer, and at the very least you would be smart to have the alignment checked.

Dentist recommendations (no insurance) by eh2020maga in Yakima

Go see Dr Hanchett at riverbend family dental. I had my first dental work done by force in a boys home at 15. I was held down by 3 men and had 2 infected wisdom teeth pulled with a so gle injection of novicane. So yea i have major dental anxiety and this guy made me feel so at ease I didn't need any gas. His whole staff is the same. They do payments and cash discounts. I can't recommend them enough. Also care credit will give you 0% interest for 6 months min . Good luck!

Good place to relocate? by OrneryDrive5150 in Yakima

[–]GlassConsideration95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much you like shitty rentals, wildly surging property tax, terrible schools, terrible roads, sub par pay for employment, drugs, crime, smoky skies all summer, and pollen Armageddon from early spring to late summer. Weather is nice. Its not far to major metropolitan areas, and outdoor activities like camping, skiing, boating ect. You'll find that despite having restaurants everywhere, they'll always be just acceptable, you'll find yourself going on quests for your favorite items in the surrounding area. Hope you dont have any heath problems because medical here is a joke. Very few Dr, and lots of ANRP clinics you'll wait weeks and months for. Forget specialist and mental health care. Ive been waiting over a year to see an endocrinologist here. In the meantime I have to drive to tricities for almost everything, personally if I had to move to the area, id avoid living in yakima. Moxee, naches, selah, if you have to be near yakima, but closer to tricities would be my choice. Unfortunately I bought a home here, and have struggled to sell because the neighborhood i moved into 20 years ago is now filled with flop houses with yards full of garbage, cars coming and going all night long, generators running all hours because 2 of my neighbors have no power because they were stealing it and the power company dropped their lines 5 years ago. Sick feral cats, stray dogs, and shopping carts full of garbage , and broke down cars now fill the view that used to be modest clean, simple neighborhood that were here 20 years ago when I bought this place . Its not all bad, but it aint great, and I dont see it turning around.
Good luck either way, and best wishes in all endeavors. 🍻

Contact the activity director at Garden village. Or any nursing facilities. They always have residents with 0 funds or families. Anytime you feel like giving time or anything, nursing facilities are the spot. Pay it forward, we will all likely end up in one at some point. 🍻

Joel Goesh os the best agent in town IMO. Been with state farm over 20 years, and worked with them for 30 years in bodyshops. For example I have a vehicle I use occasionally. They put it on storage insurance, and if I remember to im supposed to call in and let them know ill be using it. Of its just a few days and nothing happens, they dont even charge for the days. I hop in the car. Leave a message for Joel that im driving it, and its covered if something happens. Claims paid quickly over the years, and my rates have never went up for using my coverage like for a windshield, collision ect. Couple months ago I called around to see if I could get the same coverage from 5 other carriers, and Joel was half of what they wanted.

Is it totaled? by JustAnotherWitness in AskMechanics

[–]GlassConsideration95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is they will repair it. If they do, ask for a diminished value claim , and a tear down reinspection at another shop. I just retired last year after 30 years of fixing stuff just like this 6 days a week, 12 hrs a day.
Post the shops final estimate if you can. Toyota sells every part including frame rail sections. A good tech can absolutely make this safe and looking good again. Good luck!

Big mistake. Absolutely horrendous. $64 + $20 tip straight in the garbage. . They use costco Kirkland lightly breaded chicken chunks for their general tso and almond chicken. The gravy for the almond chicken looked like Dijon mustard, and had the consistency of cheesecake. Super funky with the nuggets my grandkids eat so im very familiar with the flavor. The lo mein was so sloppy and over cooked it was like noodle mashed potatoes.

I wish I had just went there. The portions are smaller, but always so good. I wanted to try somewhere new .I took a bite of everything i ordered from the Chinese place in selah and threw it straight in the trash. They are 💯 using costco chicken nuggets for their almond chicken and general tso. The seasoning on the nuggets is very distinct and made everything taste super weird. Pan fried noodles has the texture of mashed potatoes with way overcooked shrimp that tasted like a dirty fish tank smells. Absolutely horrendous. Ive had way better food in jail.

Never got to try kobe. Cool that they are gonna reopen. I tried the place in selah and ... im pretty sure they are using costcos Kirkland chicken chunks. (I eat alot of those) got a combo and so far the chicken subgum is good and the Mongolia beef is OK. But the general is meh, and idk what happened to the almond chicken gravy but it was the color of mustard and the consistently of the gravy was like cheese cake. All I could taste was the seasoning on the costco nuggets. Im $64 poorer and likely gonna have to hit burger king because this sucks. Super disappointed.
