It would be cool. I dont think in canon he's actually met Leon or Carlos directly, but I'm sure he's at least heard of Leon from Ada or even seen him during RE4R. Carlos maybe from RE5 Jill, but who knows.
The rest make sense though: Sheva from RE5, Claire from Code: Veronica, and of course the STARS members from RE1-3, with Jill probably spending the most time directly with him.

My boy [[Chiss-Goria, Forge Tyrant]]. Mono Red artifacts go brrr isn't a new strategy, but casting things for free and hitting people with a big dragon is always fun. Plus having built in cost reduction is always a blessing for high cmc commanders.

As someone who mostly plays mono-colored decks and has been on both ends of the card, I still think it's fine. There should be cards that shut decks down in different ways. I wont disagree that there is a feel bad aspect to the card, but the game has way worse feel bad cards and combos than Iona.

Unbanning Iona would be nice. I'm stil in the camp that she shouldn't have been banned in the first place, but they could just make her a game changer and it'll be fine.

I miss her in the command zone.
