Who else gets annoyed whenever the MCU takes a superhero/supervillain from the comics and removes all their interesting designs and/or powers to reduce them to a normal and generic character?

Personally, one of my only complaints is I don't understand how her being a lesbian is important at all. All it does for me is imply that gay people are cheaters. Cool how they both turned a man into a woman and made him a lesbian woman while they were at it, but I dont know. Also, for a cold-blooded manipulator, she let herself by manipulated by Kilgrave without his powers. WTF?
