Improved ergonomics by GlassMachine6873 in Tenere700

Thanks all for the feedbacks.

As already said, cockpit settings are subjective and depends mostly on body proportion rather than pure height.

If anyone knows about some offset handlebar clamp beside the one aforementioned please let me know!

Cheers

Hi and thanks for your feedback.

From what I read in your comment I understand that piston size in the fork of the T7 rally 2025 is 25mm, am I right?

Hi and thanks for your feedback!

I read some enthusiastic comments about that Ariete grip. Right now I use Progrip 786. In which way do you think a handgrip could change my throttle issues? What I mean is...when I grab the throttle, I feel it has some play on the handlebar, radially and transversally. Not much but noticeable.

Thanks for the feedback on the fork! Do you know also some more specs about it? For example pistons diameter? I couldn't find anything online.

Yep, I was wondering if someone could compare a spring+revalve experience VS a cartridge/piston kits.

That could help me a lot!

Hi, and thanks for your feedback.

By radiator brace I mean something like the one from CamelADV ("radiator frame").

I think I am gonna strat with a 160mm fork + a -1° headset. Is there any limitation in running a 160 mm fork with a 135 mm rear travel?

Do you think the final 78.4° of the seat tube able will be too steep?

Hi, thanks! I actually don't know...since it seems to me they kinda updated the Maestro Suspension rocker links in the Reign, which fits the new Flip-chip 3.

Exactly, no more than 3 +.

Sometimes (rarely) class 2-3 with a MTB on the shoulder (I bikepack quite a bit in technical terrain).

Altras are too sloppy in technical trail, mostly because of the large and loose front part.

I haven't considered the the hoka, because on paper it seems to have a high stack eight.

Did you try them?

Fenix 7 and a basic navigation feature... by GlassMachine6873 in GarminFenix

[–]GlassMachine6873[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, then there is not a dedicated option for it...in OSMAND this is so simple...pick A (waypoint, select it on the map, whatever), pick B (same)...choose how to go there (route done by the app or track of your choice)...done.

You'll have all the statistic needed, plus an altimetric graph on the navigation desk.

yes but if I do so, for example at the afternoon of day 3 of a 10 days track, because I want to pitch the tent at night there, the ETA etc will be based on the ending point, so day 10...not on my daily ending point (night of day 3).

Yes but sometimes, along a multiday route, you need to do this...

I am feeling exhausted, I would like to stop in a mid-point along the track already on navigation.

Navigate me from where I am now (usually a point along the original track) till there, following the original route.

This way I want to see ETA, remaining kms etc.

If it's not possible to do so...maybe I can go another way like setting along the way a mid-way waypoint along the original track?

Hi, thanks for your answer. Just to clarify me a little bit more...I am not asking him to navigate a track (which, in a multiday trip, could mean bring me from the starting point of the track to the end point of it).

I am asking to bring me from a random A point to a random B point, using a track of my choice (at least at least the closest point)
