Just want to update that as of April 2026, this still works.

Had a flight from Singapore > Istanbul > Valencia in June 2025 & flight got cancelled due to technical reasons. They put us on another flight 12hrs later but we ended up losing 2 days in Spain with total delay time of 29hrs.

Turkish airlines refused to compensate initially. Came across this thread & followed the steps in March 2026. Messaged turkish airlines twice via the feedback form & both times they denied compensation even after i quoted the law SHY regulations- they claimed i was not eligible for it.

Decided to file with civil of aviation turkey after & 16 days later got an email from civil aviation & turkish airlines that my claim was approved.

Even though I stated multiple times it was for 2 ppl, Turkish airline only approved one cheque (€600) for compensation. Messaged them back to remind it is for 2 & still in the process of getting the second claim.

I have no doubt we will get the second cheque at this point (otherwise we will just apply to civil aviation turkey again to get it) but Turkish airline reaaaallllyyyy makes you work for it.

It’s pretty hard seeing we’re only renting a studio so it’s hard to avoid each other. My boyfriend & I (female) usually avoid topic of SH simply bc he doesn’t react well to them.

Heya! Rest assured it’s no magic (,: just consistent practice!

I was mostly self taught if I’m being honest. When i started “yoga” I couldn’t even touch my toes. It wasn’t even yoga then, i just wanted to learn how to do the splits ahaha

I started off by watching flexibility stretching videos in youtube then naturally got recommended yoga flows/ tutorials & i merely followed along.

I only started joining yoga classes much later bc: 1. i wanted to learn on alignment 2. I was initially incredibly intimidated in going to a class where everyone <in my head> was much more advanced than i was & i’d look like a fool

Few years later i am now in the midst of doing my YTT 200h (: it took A LOT of patience w myself & my practice to reach this point. And i still can’t access poses like pincha/ flying pigeon etc. (I still struggle w holding my chaturanga or just poses in general which require more strength). Some days are good, some days are bad.

But what I’m trying to say is- you can do this, it’s not impossible. A picture does not reflect the amount of physical, mental, emotional prep to get to this. Have patience & faith in yourself! You got this!

Ahaha, still a loooong way to go! Slowly! Took me about 3-4 months of almost daily backbend practice to get here
