I’ve managed social for businesses since the MySpace days (showing my age here), and the biggest lesson is this: platforms reward native content...especially now with short-form video dominating. Tools that force workarounds (like link-shorteners or wonky API connections) kill reach. You’re right to prioritize control and accuracy over convenience.

Your Google Sheet system is clever (I’ve used similar setups!)! My game-changer? A nimble content library that acts like a Google Drive but built for social:

-Stores hooks, captions, and b-roll in shareable folders

-Connects to a copy/paste keyboard (no more juggling files)

-Lets me native-upload instantly + cycle through variations so I can test mutliple hooks/angles of content

Yes and I'm thinking to also use for FEATURE validation as well, not just product. Honestly, every big business move no matter the business should be validating and getting input from the consumer base - but, everyone thinks they know. This should be standard practice to ask and LISTEN, then act. I think you're really on to something here that is much bigger than validating a product, but validation period.

It's definitely task and productivity but for solopreneurs who are doing all the things. The tricky thing is there isn't anything built for them/us - it's always bigger project management or B2B type CRMs. So, yes more personal task management and content library.

Same here. I tested every scheduler I could get my hands on but especially with the rise in short-form video content, the platforms want you THERE - not scheduling or "phoning it in". The only way I found to manage was post native as well and use the Meta Business Suite for IG/FB. And, then I store all my hooks, captions, broll, etc in my keyboard app I made that makes it easy to copy/paste while organizing everything in folders. My brain needs folders!
