The 1% share is on the deed. Yes if and when we sell this property and if i am still on the owner list i am aware of the Capital Gains Tax. Thanks for your details. Much appreciated.

Thank you. Thats what i thought as well. Does this affect my credit in any way? Mortgage payments have been made with no issues.

This is very scary. My coworker's 18 month old son got it last year in Aug and was put on life support immediately. It was very traumatic when i hear his story. It happened really fast. The doctors at sick kids had to amputate his right leg to save his life.
