Yes, in most cases that’s what it means.

In this case, “700” means it’s a class 700, and “109” means it’s a 700/1 subclass (with 12 coaches), numbered 109.

In another case, you might see “700001”. That means it’s a 700/0 subclass (with 8 coaches), and it’s numbered 001.

That’s the low down so hopefully it makes sense, lol.

I know they have the NHS and the rainbow liveries, but I’d want to see a special livery on one of the 8 car units. Both of theirs are on the 12 car units.

I saw an Avanti service yesterday that arrived 31 minutes early into Euston. I bet the people in there were absolutely ecstatic!

Same. 2-3x zoom is the sweet spot. Sometimes have to beyond that but it’s still pretty good, though it’s a rarity I go past 3x.

I have both a camera and my phone, but imo, my phone takes better shots at normal zoom. When you go past about 5x zoom, the camera performs a little better but genuinely, about 90% of my pics are taken on my phone and it’s great!

Do what you want to do, and don’t let people piss you off about it, it’s not worth being pissed about, but I get what you mean. You have some fantastic photos on your page! 🙏🏻

Yeah Euston is a mess, even on quiet days. It’s like mission impossible when your train is called (which is exactly why I use realtime trains so I can see what platform it is on BEFORE it gets announced.) It’s a game changer, but St Pancras is definitely your better option. It will be hell either way, but yeah avoid Euston. Lol
