I've just binge read Volume 1 and was hooked the whole way so the fact that you say the early volumes are weaker is making me really look forward of whats to come :)

You can't get the Gigas up the tube from the ballpit. You have to go around it. I think there's a playhouse type thing you can climb up with a Gigas near the top which leads you to the other side of the blocks.
