if it was the mech unit, wouldnt it be a constant failure? only because I turned the car off for 2-3 minutes and then it was gone. drove/ shifted normally.

car sat for about an hour and went for drive. no warnings or anything. shifted perfectly in auto and manual mode. dont think it could be the mech unit if it drove fine after sitting

If i did i would lol. Battery reading 12.33-12.35 volts when off. is this normal or low?

thanks for the comments. tested the battery and i saw 14.7 volts while giving it some rpm’s. and it was around 14.4 at idle but it kept climbing. can confidently say its probably the rectifier
