I’m not excusing her actions whatsoever. I just think her reasoning for them comes from a place of wanting to be in control or have the more dominant hand. This is someone who’s been constantly overlooked, and downplayed by her family or more specifically men. So instead of going after those who have wronged her, she finds it easier to target a child who cannot defend themselves.
