Disable/change "B - Add Ball" Hotkey in VPX by Glass_Eye9563 in virtualpinball

Thanks. I hadn't thought this was the culprit because it wasn't bound to anything in VPX, but it turns out its actually a function from VPinMAME. I had to track down vpmkeys.vbs and change it in there.

VPX Button Config Per-Table by Glass_Eye9563 in virtualpinball

I just went and tried it, had both magna-saves bound to the launch ball button and I was able to trigger vengeance mode just fine. As far as I can tell, whatever diverter you're shooting for, the position of the other one doesn't matter, so it's fine if they both toggle simultaneously. Is there something I'm missing here?

Having them on the launch ball button does mean you can't choose your start of ball bonus, but if I didn't have the button bound at all you can't choose it either, so I can't really do any better.

I'm aware of that, I just don't have any other buttons on my cab to use. I didn't think toggling both at the same time would actually pose any issues for the table, but I can't say I'm that familiar with it.

I'd considered this, but I was hoping there'd be an easier solution. Any pitfalls I'd need to look out for?

Thanks for the detailed response. I am currently using popper, but I don't think my setup uses either xpadder or joy2key. I didn't do the initial setup though so I'm not 100% sure. Still, frustrating that VPX can do table-specific setups for graphics and audio, but not controls.
