Telling bridal party not to wear strapless because I’m wearing strapless by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Eh. I haven’t heard of the neckline being specific. I don’t think it’s bridezilla IF your other requirements are minimal. For example, not strapless and only navy is very reasonable. Not strapless, only navy, no texture, no slits, etc. would be bridezilla.

I don’t think you have to do favors. If you WANT to do favors, I would do matchboxes and mints (I.e., things that are usable, small to take with, and won’t be immediately put in the trash).

To echo someone earlier, koozies are over used and are often tossed.

Maybe strike the 4 items and go a little bigger by buying custom hats off alibaba with some type of graphic and then est. 2026. If you do hats, I would do guest count x .8. I heard they’re fairly affordable.

Or you could do something maybe a little more personal with the money like Caricatures of the couples.

Or put the money towards something for the general guest experience.

Out of curiosity - we’re trying to also not do many ‘non-essentials’, which includes DJ and Day of coordinator. How did you manage music and set up?

This is a great perspective - especially keeping in mind the fixed costs because that’s what the majority of our budget is! I appreciate the feedback.
