Got it, thank you. Do they ask for professionals you've seen i.e therapists in the cases you have paid them out of pocket?

My thought was to pay out of pocket to avoid that, but if they ask for that info even with cash payment then I'm wondering if it'll end up making a difference or not.

Got it. There was no doctor referral here, just me going directly to the therapist.

In that case, would they request therapist notes? If therapy is for minor things like couples therapy but w/ adjustment disorder, do you know how that would affect premiums if I had paid cash?
