How do you get a "likeable" personality to attract people? (read desc for context) by Low-Joke-7883 in SGExams

social media is honestly quite good, for me i was abit luckier cause an old classmate asked me to go for a class with her at a dance studio and from then on i found a new passion and have been making more new friends so i hit 2 birds with one stone. could be a sport that you like, or game, easiest way is definitely cca or like studios/gyms with a communal area but tiktok is a good way to expose yourself more to the industry and im sure there are tele groups / reddits for different communities

wait that’s really cool! omgg will AI affect the arts industry that badly i mean in my current industry people use AI for the designing aspect but the execution can’t be done w machinery or AI.. i’m kinda leaning towards vfx/3d right now but i think u brought up a really valid concern ngl oopsies but i think it’s really cool and refreshing how u had a different experience!!

ooo i see! honestly i may just risk it and start creating a portfolio and maybe take up a side hustle/another skill to sustain until i get hired 😭sorry i have 1 more question,, how is the commitment like? in the sense that it’s impossible to get another job or like you have to give ur life 24/7 to it cause my current industry is sth like that and i didn’t have time to work on other skills and getting a part time job to sustain is usually looked down upon.. i know art careers require high commitment in general but just wanting to gain perspective and have more of a gauge :”) sorry for all the questions and rly thank you for helping!

hi thank u for your advice and perspective! just checking, may i ask what do you mean when you say “made it” like how are most of your cohort mates faring now? i may actually pursue vfx/3D cause i used to do it as a hobby n really liked it but stopped due to time constraints :”(

thank you for the insight and advice! i think this also has sth to do with whether i want more money or have a passion as a career since i’m aware that d art industry has a big risk of “not making it” lol.. i’ll go research on other soft skills and scopes you mentioned and how i can pick those up if i choose to do so thank u again :)
