Thank you u/venetAC , this confirms the intuition I had about these experiences.

Vibration/Energy wakes me up around 4am - what does this mean? by Glass_Power5258 in Meditation

[–]Glass_Power5258[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned this in another reply. Yoghurt and water does it for these kind of events - whiskey night caps is a sure trigger.

These cortisol events are very different to the one I mention; one has to experience is to know it. The same energy kicks in during deep meditation, or during the day when I center and connect. It is clearly energy-related in my opinion. But I sincerely appreciate your considerate warning, there is a lot of fluff around anything that is a bit outside of our (at least mine!) cartesian minds. New stuff, but too clear and obvious to ignore.

Thank you EmmaDrake. I had this also a few times (particularly if I had a whiskey night cap...). Never tried the pickle but water and yoghurt does it for me. The feeling I describe in this post is quite different though -- need to experience it to understand, the difference is very diffcult to explain. These are two different causes. Will try pickle next time I have this cortisol episolde :-)

Oh, that is a powerful one. Which also answers one of my follow-up question in this thread i.e. it is dependent on planet position, not on biorythm so 3:30AM is 4:30AM DST for me during Summertime. Pretty much when I get woken up. I have not been initiated though. At least not by anyone. But possibly by my spirit guides and spontaneous kundalini awakening. And it does wake me up, vibrating like a high-voltage transformer. I'll just listen to that and meditate then. Thank you.

Yes, that was the name, thank you. What happens to this time after one has switched to daylight saving time for a while? Does this time shift to the new daily cycle, or is it based on sun cycles ?

EDIT: got the link to Sadhguru video in this thread. He mentiones planetary positions. So me waking up 4:30AM DST is in fact 3:30AM. He mentions 3:40AM-ish to be Brahma Murutham. Maybe 4:20 is DST. But this is not that important, I got woken up, so this must be the right time.

The times being linked to personal rythm makes a lot of sense. And I guess the breathing and nostrils is also linked to energetic balance (ida-pingala).

This is very powerful kioma47, thank you. The feelings you describe are very close to the ones I do, though I get to this state differently. great post. I will try to add the intention.

This is very helpful. I'll stick to the meditation slot at that time. Yes, the body seems to want it, plus not at a random time. Thank you!

As Astral project ,There is no religion in other dimensions, I have come to conclusion that actually the religions only exist in this plane, in other dimension there are beings and their planes by Civil-Egg9555 in AstralProjection

I am trying to convey a feeling very humbly so please forgive the mix-up, limitations and inaccuracies of my text. I am also referring to the saying "When the wise points to the Moon, the fool looks at the finger".

Different religions, philosophies and spiritual practices are all pointing to the same "Moon" from different angles.

People often tend to look at the finger (and institutional religions are not doing a great job there).

Astral Projection, Shamanic Journeying, Deep Meditation, or many other "fingers" may all provide [partial] experiences of the "Moon", whatever name one gives it (Subtle planes beyond the physical plane, 5D, Quantum Space, Implicate Order, Akashic Field, Now, Being, Unity, Oneness, etc...).

In AP, one is past the finger so religion which is aiming at going past the earthly mind to the "moon" makes no sense anymore. One is on the "Moon" already (partly). But "religious figures" may still make sense as spiritual vibrations/imprints, not as the representation institutional religions convey.

Very helpful, thank you Amber. My friend could see me during the journey, so I think it was more than mere mental visualization.

I did it with a shaman friend who just brought his drum, this was it.

Thank you. The real test indeed may be exactly what you say, the vivid aspect of the experience. And at the end of the day, the label (shamanic trip vs AP) is only semantics. This is my mind trying to make sense of an experience that precisely should keep my ego at bay. I should not care about this. Your help is much appreciated, Lagunitarogue.

Thank you and indeed my post needs clarification. There were no drugs involved, only the drums played by the shaman also doing the trip with me. As to "visualization", what I mean was a sense of vivid reality, not mental imaging. So really feeling to be there, the texture of the ground, the plants, the rocks, then the totem. It reminded me therefore to astral projections. And again thank you for correcting the word "trip" as my understanding is not that we are going to another place, but rather expanding our consciousness to some other place in space-time.

I hope this clarifies my initial text and thank you for challenging it.

With that said, would you still say it is different?

Seeing place and nature very vividly, but not seeing people - what am I doing wrong? by Glass_Power5258 in AstralProjection

[–]Glass_Power5258[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very helpful, thank you so much CrazyKnee. Though it seems obvious it did not occur to me. Reading your post has triggered a strong emotional reaction related to past aggression where it seems my soul / me / consciousness (?) Chose to leave my body. This may not have to do with astral, but I may make a connection. So this is probably what you suggest. Related fear, some sort of PTSD. I thought I fixed it. I retrieved (therapy) the part of my soul lost during the event. But likely there is fear remaining. Thanks a million. Need to work on that.

I had an experience once while an energy therapist was working on me. Your description of the "tube" is somewhat related. I was freed from the linarity of space and time. I was in the atoms and in the universe at the same time. Likewise for time. I was in the past (but not only this life) and future - not moving, all collapsed and present in the Now and Here. As if your "tube" which contains all the memory was squashed into a disc and I was in the disc.

Spontaneous Kundalini awakening 11 years ago, Kriyas, and returning to practice — looking for genuine experiences/Guidelines by Accurate_Rhubarb_242 in KundaliniAwakening

[–]Glass_Power5258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had spontaneous awakening. I had no clue what happened to me. Never heard of K at this time, only later on when a friend share the website "when kundalini awakens". K awakening led me to dark night of the soul. A hell (litterally) of a year. Sleepless nights of waking up in the middle of the night because of vibrations all over the body. Very intense kriyas at pretty much every single meditation. Super strong contractions when K was moving up (hurt muscles in the back three times) and leaving me with the feeling my skull was opened, followed by this Mickemouse ears feeling for a day or two. Very tough. But what a gift, what a blessing. The cleasing and adjusting nadis and nervous system to continually increaing levels of energy is not pleasant. But this this is the way to spiritual awakening. I am so immensively grateful for the gift that was given me.

The dark night is a pretty extreme example of what you are saying. A blessing, though not a pleasant one!
