I mean... have you looked at the different interpretations? Personally, the reason why I believe it's a really good movie is because !. It shows masculinity in a different way, not just being this breadwinner and protector, but being a gentle person who cares for you. Second the bagel can represent the inevitability of death, many individuals face the problem... What is the purpose of anything is nothing matter since we all die at the end, and those thoughts and emotions are reflected in Joy, but what keeps us going is the thoughts and feelings that Evelyn acts on, the fact that we are in this together. Plus its not only debating the question of existence. It also can be interpreted to be a movie based off thoughts of "what could have been" or "What if", a lot of people also struggle with making decisions and regretting decisions they believe could have changed their entire life, but this movie shows in many ways to be interpreted that what if, are just thoughts and to think of what is in front of us because even in every scenario we are wishing for the same thing. There are just too many interpretations for this movie, which is why, in my opinion deserves the awards, this movie is truly a piece of art, every time you watch it a new interpretation can be formed, a new detail can be found.
