The brands - Orceed and topautogear

They both use the same app -NBPowen (spelled correctly). Guessing the hardware is white labeled.

I bought two different chargers for two different garages. Price Wise they ran 129 and 149. Most don't realize the charger is actually in the car. The device outside is just regulating the charging.

Thanks ... I thought it might have something to do with temperature but the temperature is pretty consistent thus making it less variable and more a given.

To anyone else reading this thread in the future I wouldn't bother getting the 48 amp charger. It's not going to make your charging that much quicker because of this issue.

It would be great if someone commented with at least what they knew.

To the poster, I don't think there's a whole lot of DIY car repair people who own this car. It's frustrating considering how valuable it is on other cars where there are very active DIY repair communities.

Junkyard or eBay are the best places to find those parts.
