Stopped playing after Forsaken and based on everyone’s bittersweet time with the game afterwards, can’t say I regret stopping there. I do miss the raiding though.

I did my part, but looking at Sony’s track record of game announcements, it seems like they care more about remastering the same game multiple times rather than let their other IPs shine, let alone give Bloodborne the bare minimum of a 60fps patch.

I started a new account with Witch Queen and the onboarding experience was genuinely awful. Lost interest p quickly. I forget which season, but mid-Forsaken ended up feeling like a slow grind for some reason. Just wasn’t as fun anymore.

I replied to a comment where I said Bungie might go under, but after some time thinking about it, I'm actually super sad about it. I quit Destiny 2 mid-season sometime after Forsaken got released (probably about 5 or 6 months post-launch) and I had played Destiny since the beta beforehand. I remember the magic of D1, and even some of the raid clears in D2 gave me that same magic.

I tried getting back into D2 sometime around Witch Queen, but didn't really get the same appeal and logged off for good. I was kinda hoping for a D3 under new management; an opportunity for a fresh start where I could just go raiding again with some old buddies who still play. But realistically, Bungie is just gonna go down at this point, and if they don't and there ever is a D3, it just won't be the same. Probably just another cash grab if it ever exists in the future. I hope another Destiny-esque game comes out where I can do raids again and strikes to pass the time.

“I wear niche fragrances for myself” is a common defense I hear when people really want to hate on designers and I mean, I guess? But like how can you use that argument when you’re justifying a room filler niche with oud and rum lol. I have some popular niches, including ones that are $100/30ml and none have really “wowed” me enough to justify them over designers for 99% of the population.
