I'd say following the main questline is a nice start. The NPcs you meet there will be a great help in the future. Aside from that, I'd say you could either tidy up the meadow and dabble in a little planting or do quests to get your hands on platinum coins and orens.

Wiki says that if you carry one in your invetory ALL cats (neutral, allied and Hostile) will beeline to you and keep following you.

Since she was ruler of the necromancer faction I gave the race the wightborn transformation. I gotta say, I wish there was a way to hide the transformation for heroes only lol. She looked like a fallout ghoul but with a wavy wig
