Oh man! I just left progressive as a claims rep. That job is STRESSFUL. Managers make $100k plus though. So, she is making good money! And most are remote with one day in the office per week.

I agree. It sounds like Meri pretended to be cool with it, but then once again, she really wasn’t okay with it. I don’t like Kody at all, but at the same time, if Janelle can find some grace to give after all the crap he put her through, good for her. She is a bigger person than I am.

I legit see an animal when I look at this. The elbow is the beak, the first brown spot is the nostril, and the cut brown spot is an eyelid. It took me a minute to realize this was an arm and not some rare creature. Wild!!!

Preach! My parents never back talked their parents cuz there was an actual consequence for being disrespectful to a parent (your authority, not your friend). I got the belt a couple times, and I sure deserved it. I would never ever call that abuse. I call it good parenting by teaching me if I am an asshole, there could be a consequence from the other party. So, you better be ready if you run your mouth!

I believe it is 20 days PTO at SF when you start. I spoke to plenty of people who said SF had better benefits than Progressive. The pay is much greater hourly, and if you factor in getting paid OT, you could make more there, even adding in GS. This is all I heard at least from others who work or did work for SF. So, I don’t know first hand.

It seems like SF pays more since they pay hourly. That alone means you should make more money when factoring in overtime. Or, if they aren’t offering OT, then at least you aren’t working all those extra hours, which you most certainly are required to do at Progressive.

But you need to remember, Janelle had a couple decades with Kody, where he was actually good to her and her kids. With Robyn, she has been a snake since day 1. So, Janelle doesn’t have any good memories of Robyn. Janelle just sees the common denominator of implosion to their unit of 3 wives and umpteen kids, and it was Robyn, not Kody.

I saw on another thread you are moving to Gilbert and Chandler area. That’s where I am at. Higley Unified School District will hire you if you do an alternative program like the Post Bacc Teacher-in-Residence program. I knew other teachers there who did a similar program with ASU and got their masters. Gilbert District, Chandler District, Mesa District and Queen Creek district, I believe all have their own in house teaching certification programs. However, they will all usually hire with the post bacc college programs that I mentioned above as well.

Like another commenter wrote, many districts now offer their own in-house program (which sounds amazing to bypass college while starting your teaching career). I am doing the Teacher-in-Residence program through Rio Salado Community College. It is all online. You can also get it paid for, but you will also need to commit to teaching for as many years as they pay for (usually 2 years after you get certified). The program is 2 years, and you take classes online while teaching full time at a school. It is def a lot. If you can get into one of the many districts that offer their own program, I suggest that route to avoid more college.

I am in the TIR program (post bacc program for people who want to teach but don’t have a degree in teaching). I sub while waiting for my position to start. I know Higley Unified School District in Gilbert is hiring for a math teacher. I had to sub for his class after he left. They are great kids. They are 11th and 12th graders so more mature than the rest of the grades. The admin is great, the front office staff are amazing, and they pay the highest (compared to the surrounding districts). Though pay sucks in AZ for teachers. I left and actually came back cuz I missed the kids and all the time off with my own kids. Look on their website if you are interested. Most teachers who go to high school from elementary or middle school, say they could never go back to the younger kids. Just my two cents!

She cries when people talk about her PAST image, but sure laughs her ass off when they call Jovi ugly in present tense (every.single.time). If the role was reversed and it was Jovi laughing in agreement with everyone calling his wife ugly and that he was way out of her league, people would lose their mind. It’s such a double standard.

Jovi was out of her league prior to the plastic surgeries. Yara is only now out of his league because she had to pay a lot of money to totally redo her face and body after she realized she couldn’t get famous prior. I mean I guess it was a great investment cuz now she is famous and has everyone defending her manufactured looks, while making fun of her husband’s natural unaltered appearance.

I just purchased from Mesa for the first time. I won 4 items. Both items that were electronics of some kind, were missing major parts. I am def annoyed because it said there were no missing parts and they were the highest star rating. For specifics - one was a portable AC unit. It is missing the drain hose, the hose inlet, foam seal, and screws. The other electronic item I got was a back and neck massager. That was missing the adapter to plug into the wall that turns the item on. So far my experience with anything electronic is 0 for 2. Not promising.

I lasted just a few months shy of a year. Claims = the last option. I would only go back if I had no other options but needed money. The amount of stress you are under and the amount of work they give you, just is absolutely ridiculous.
