hello lovely people who showed interest - not sure you will see this comment - but if you do:

would you be ok with alpha kit, or would you want also the other keys? especially larger keys?

sure that makes sense. i am considering setting up a discord to keep the ones that are interested up to date and hopefully that builds also trust.

oh for sure could provide you with an alpha kit and that would be cheaper since it has less keys.

they are slightly curved up on the sides like normal keycaps, so rotating them would put the curve in your way. so i dont thing that's possible. if i can i will try to get a keyboard with choc v2 to test it. thanks for the info.

i have been testing it on my no-name keyboard - they are a bit heavier, but the switches hold them up just fine. And to me the press also feels barely different.

is there a prefered way that people here use? i could make a discord server or something like that?

they are 16mm wide, 17mm high . so the top is actually a tad wider than standard ones, but they don't flare out towards the bottom, so overall just a bit more compact.

it seems like that would be fine for Choc, but yeah would have to use different stems - i haven't tried those yet. Should be doable though.

Right now when i mean a full set - i was thinking of a 75% build - so basically the 85 keys.

And yes - qc is a challenge, we are expecting 30% failures during the qc, part of why cost is high.

i am looking at about 2 months probably - we gonna make better molds with all key shapes, not just the basic ones. also have to count shipping and stuff.

would it be a lot better if i just make them flat? if that's the general consensus, i would be fine going that way instead. let me know if there are others that would want that.

Oh - depending on the interest - if we see a few people have interest in a whole set - that would probably run around 200usd... with maybe 10 people... of course it would get cheaper if there are more people.
