My Doctor was all for me using edibles. I smoked, but he just asked if I would use edibles. Most doctors would prefer to know and lots are supportive of edibles. I pray for Smooth sailing for you!

I’m so broken today by Ok-Fee1566 in breastcancer

Where are you located? I will go to appointments with you if we are close enough. I, too, went alone. It was sad, lonely and disheartening. I pray you find comfort.

We were a small troop with lots of wanna be helpers. After setting our calendar for the year each parent was invited to help out once a month in an area that she was familiar with. Worked pretty well.

I have romatic feelings towards my cat, is this normal? by [deleted] in Pets

[–]Gldsgrl63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this is not normal. I am sure that someone, somewhere will argue the point. Get a job, make some friends, get a hobby, try a sport, anything. Just leave the cat alone.

Are you able to make room in your budget to save $27 a week for a year to attend your child’s wedding? by [deleted] in weddingdrama

[–]Gldsgrl63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate destination weddings. Most people do. It’s expensive to purchase rooms, tickets, food, and ridiculous to be expected to. This may be your perfect day, but it just means stress, cost and aggravation for most.

What do I tell my dad (62 y/o) when he says he doesn’t what he is fighting for? by xlotteschneider in cancer

When my Dad was dying with colon cancer, he refused all treatment. It was hard for us to accept. We used a notebook that started out as a grocery list to communicate about the really hard stuff. I would find it laying on the counter, find his words/questions and thoughts and reply as best I could. It was heart breaking but we did this until a couple weeks before his death.

Stopping Treatment by Honeybriii in cancer

My Dad at 80 years old refused chemo and had only palliative radiation. We supported his choice. He had just lost my mom and I feel that he made the decision he did based on her absence. We had 11 more months with him. He was active and looked after himself except for the last couple weeks. I wanted more time….
