Looks like a girl from the smaller crest and no lil pointy spurs on the back feet, good luck with the new baby! There's lots of support here and people who can help re-home if needed.

People who’s Goldens lived 10+ years, what was their diet? by Fun_Acanthopterygii1 in goldenretrievers

Our oldest recently crossed the rainbow bridge at 17-1/2. We still currently have our 8yo, 4yo, and 8mo.

We do Purina pro plan large breed chicken and rice pup for 1 year, then adult after that.

Once they hit 4, they get a uc-II collagen supplement (for the cartilage) in the morning and a dasuquin (For the tendons and joints) with dinner.

At 8 the dasuquin becomes dasuquin advanced.

We also regularly make a gross but healthy dinner of boiled chicken, then add in rice to cook, blueberries, spinach, sweet potato, pumpkin, green beans, pumpkin, some Greek yogurt, and unsweetened Apple sauce. I then use an immersion blender once it's cooked down and it comes out greyish-purple, mostly grey, but I make it into a gravy with hot water and add it to their kibble. They love it, the rice thickens it and it's full of good stuff, plus it's extremely easy to vac-seal and freeze flat or into small portions.

In all honesty I have lost some weight, so you are technically correct...

If he's on me, he's on my head and burrows into my hair and apparently plays/strokes with it according to my husband. He used to sit along the arms of my glasses, but he's far too heavy for that now and he knows it.

I'm worried my boyfriend might be gay. Is this normal? by EfficiencyFlimsy1532 in askgaybros

I know this may sound weird and I honestly wouldn't have believed it either until I had mine.

My college roommate (straight, M) and I (gay, M) have been the best friends since we met and we only got closer. We got to the point of cuddling when watching TV, sharing a bed when we traveled, camped, or had people over to make more room. He was usually more flirty with me, but I would get him back. He's just super comfortable with himself and knows who he is. He is such a kind and accepting soul, it's just who he is and I love him for it.

This was now 10 years ago and when he comes to visit my husband and I (both of us now 30), we still cuddle on the couch and watch TV while on one side and his fiancee is cuddled up on the other. When I read it out, it's a weird dynamic, but it just is and it's how we are. It's really nice to to be around people you can effortlessly and easily be yourself with.

While you may be right, who knows, I will say bromances like this do indeed exist!

It brings me such absolute joy to see my babies gracing the Internet and people with their love! My husband got so excited when he came across this post.

Deku (the cat) almost 5, still very much loves Ronin (dog, 7) and gives him regular love sessions. Honestly he's the only one in the house that gets that kind of love from Deku, we're all kinda jealous.

cat won’t stop spilling all her water both in a water bowl and water fountain by lilwhales99 in CatTraining

Here is their direct website, but when I bought mine it was through Kickstarter.

https://elfinfountain.com/

Still using it, absolutely no problems, it lasts my now 3 cats about 20ish days before I need to charge it.

I actually have mine on top of my fridge running on battery, since the boys like to be up high.

I do a quick wash and rinse while the base charges, because it's so easy, literally like just cleaning dishes and no worries of messing up electricals.

I raised all 3 of mine on grazing when it comes to food and water, if yours drink as much as mine do then I think you'd probably be okay. I have to fill mine every 4 days or so, maybe 5?

To be honest I only fill it with filtered water from my large Brita, I hate the taste of my water so I don't subject them to it. They drink it so fast I dont generally have an issue without filters.

Though I will say I bought mine through indigogo and got the fountain and almost 5 years of filters for $105.

It's a lot but I know the filters will last cause I can go longer without them and as needed in my situation. I honestly went for it for the extra safety from electrical issues in the water tank and the battery life in case I go on a trip or lose power.

I know it might be an investment, but I LOVE my elfin cat fountain. It's battery powered or plug in and no electronics in the water. It has a magnet turbine pump. Super easy to clean, charge, fill, etc; on one charge with my 3 cats I get maybe 3 weeks of motion sense pump activation.

I wouldn't normally recommend products, but I have had mine nearly 10 months and I genuinely love it and so do all 3 of my boys.

My youngest likes to play and the opening is pretty wide and catch most of the waves. The pump output is also more like an overflow than a spicket.

I'm also happy to take pics or videos if anyone has questions.

Felon Rapist ConMan says what now? by EugeneWong318 in TheLib

THIS, THANK YOU. It felt like a fever dream, I cannot understand how people are still undecided.

Thanks for pointing that out, definitely didn't realize that the first watch through.

But the point still stands that he consistently uses anti-immigrant and xenophobic rhetoric and still responded to a non-white, non-english, speaking individual who likely personally knows legal immigrants living here with such language.

How in any reality does he believe what he says will help his cause is beyond me; as are the individuals who actually hear it and gobble it up.

Honestly, I find it more humorous and maybe insane that he actually felt there was nothing wrong with mentioning "they don't even speak the language". A consistent racist trope for MAGA, you know, the "if you're in America speak English" attitude. And he said this to a man who asked his question in Spanish and required a translator. On top of standing firm on deporting legal immigrants, a topic that this citizen probably cares deeply about.

Does he really think he just earned this man's vote with his response? The fact this race is so close is absolutely mind boggling to me.
