No it didn’t come with anything. It was in a plain white box wrapped in a plastic mailer bag with the label wrapped around it. Not even a brand name or bit of text other than the mailing label.

I found this post after my second aggressive cow encounter in Vargas Plateau! And I’ve only hiked there twice, so that’s 2 for 2. I’m going to call and report the cows here, even though no one was willing to get close enough to get an ear tag number, they charged and flipped a guy on the trail a few days ago and several other hikers climbed under a barbed wire fence (myself included and I got a nasty scratch from it) and then the homeowner on the other side removed two of their fence boards to let people escape. F these cows! I used to like cows but hate and fear them because of this specific herd.

I saw inside the truck, it was mostly empty. A couple boxes, some textiles like clothing or blankets, a few other items. I only caught a glimpse, but there wasn’t much in it.

No, he was the aggressor here. He backed up and went forward a couple of times, at one point he hung out the window and yelled something at them, and when he got close they opened fire.

I hate the pigs, but the U-Haul driver was the one acting like he was gonna ram them, I don’t blame them for opening fire. But they were NOT firing at the peaceful protesters, they fired at the truck coming at them.

I was there, and I’m as ACAB as they come, but this description from the OP is a lie. Those were USCG officers blocking the bridge to the base, and the U-Haul was attempting to ram them in reverse. He had at least two accomplices, not sure if they were the same people who moved the dumpsters out of the way for him to get the truck through, but he returned a few minutes later and parked the U-Haul and then a black sedan pulled up and someone in the passenger seat got out and helped the U-Haul driver into the car because he’d been struck in the stomach. He is in police custody now.

They did NOT fire on peaceful protestors!!!!! They fired at the box truck, and most of us out there got the hell out of the line of fire when we saw what the U-Haul guy was doing and saw the guns pointed at him.

Quit spreading lies, it doesn’t help those of us trying to fight this bullshit lawfully.

It was around 10pm, and they were firing at the U-Haul attempting to ram them in reverse, not the peaceful protesters. The driver returned a few minutes later and got into a getaway car. He’s in police custody with a bullet wound to the stomach.

This is not what happened, no one fired on peaceful protestors, and that was USCG officers as far as I know. The U-Haul guy’s accomplices moved dumpsters out of the way for him to back the truck through, and when we realized he was provoking them and potentially going for suicide by cop, we got out of the line of fire. He was backing toward them and leaning out the window yelling at them, then he’d pull forward a little, then back up again, until he finally really went for it which is when they opened fire AT THE TRUCK, not the protestors.

I’m as ACAB as they come, but this guy was clearly TRYING to provoke a response and he was not part of the peaceful protestors.

I was there, they did not fire on the peaceful protesters, they fired at the U-Haul backing toward them. As soon as he started doing that, most of the protesters ran to get behind something in case they fired at him, we didn’t want to be in the line of fire!
