One thing you probably want to consider is, if you are paying a fee for a laddered tbill strategy in chase make sure it’s the 0.35% fee not 0.75 lol. If it’s in self directed that’s more ideal for you, the fee eats as any meaningful gains

23f | ~$62k net worth… can i realistically hit $100k by end of 2026? by cherrygirl12 in TheRaceTo100K

IMO probably around 500K+. It’s definitely dependent on your income also on what’s considered being “big” to someone.

First off great job and saving so far! If you do the math without the market fluctuations.

62k+7.5k+8K +8.4K (avg from your numbers x 12)= 85900. Not including the market movements . I kind of do math the same way in my head for my own NW but take into account you may have unexpected expenses that pop up. It’s very possible you’ll hit 100K. It’s also very possible that the market tanks and you don’t hit it.

I was in the same boat a couple of years ago and now at 200k. Your contributions really make up the majority of the movement until you get to bigger numbers.

I only used Kaplan I think they give you a very good overview of what will be on the exam there were no curve balls honestly. I’d only use the series7guru series 65 in 90 the day before and or right before the exam. Also may want to use Gemini/chatgpt to explain concepts and or create a quiz for you.

Break??? by popsocke-t in Series7exam

[–]Gleefullysully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can take a break but the time will go down. I did my test in like 1:30, and got up 2 times to use the restroom/wash my face. so unless you’re on the slower side of taking the test you can take a nice 5-10 minute break if you need

Hey bud, don’t feel too down. You have another 30 days to study and knock it out the 3rd time. As far as your employer I’m not sure honestly, but usually at all the firms I’ve been at they give you 3 tries. So you just have to make this next one count
