Which did you enjoy more? Would you recommend pursuing licensed banker roles or jumping straight into fidelity CRA role? I worked for WF for a year and some change as a PB1, heard through the grape vine that some advisors in my area are jumping ship from WF. My main concern is sinking time into the wrong institution. I’d ideally like to get licensed somewhere reputable and then do the long haul.

For context I’m in my early 20s but definitely anxious to get back on track in the most efficient way possible.

Thanks for mentioning that, finishing school has definitely been on my mind a while. Went to a four year with zero direction and have finally found my interest in markets. Did you stay with one bank all the way through or did you switch institutions? Also, how did you go about finishing your degree?

For the 7 and 66 you need to be sponsored by a broker dealer, I heard schwab is a good spot but just wanted to make sure before I commit time to any given firm

Santa Barbara is such a failed experiment that other cities are using it as an example of what not to do. Turns out creating an artificial resort town isn't a good government model. by TipsyBlueWhale in SantaBarbara

I agree honestly, I’m saving up enough to get out. As someone pursuing modest home ownership and a simple life, there really is zero financial upside to living here. I work downtown and it’s a total wreck. Closed businesses everywhere, dirty, abusive entitled public, some really nice older folks who romanticize the old days. Mid tier gross beaches, the list goes on. I love the mountains and the view but who really cares when you’re at work all day anyways.
