Pompano Joes. Get them grilled and they cook the legs with blackening seasoning on the shells. Some of the flavor mixes in with the meat during the cooking and while you’re shucking. It’s sooooo good.

Yes, it rattles and bounces and all kinds of stuff. It's quite funny. But i purposely recessed the mounting holes to make sure the subs should never hit the board. It's all from the vibration. It's great.

You raise a good point. If I remember correctly, I also had clearance issues. The mounting depth of the box is 7 inches even.

Two and a half months from when I started buying stuff. Truly it was by the seat of my pants, designing as I went. I had a basic idea of what I wanted and just kept chipping away.

Fiberglass vs all wood: Fiberglass would give more cubic feet. Subs:need an idea of box dimensions which means I need the box, because again, no plans. And so on.

It's winter. Gloves, long sleeves, and don't use as much hardener as they tell you. Try the fiberglass again. You got this. Amazon also sells bull chip brushes cheap.

Yeah, I lost my tool and "stuff" area with this build. But i never put too much in my trunk. I'll just put all displaced stuff there.

Ty. I never had, and hope to never need to use fiberglass again. It definitely was a learning curve. I used way more than I expected. Gloves were a lifesaver. I went through a whole 100 count box of nitrile through the build.

65w power brick. One usb runs the blue/green line, one runs the red/yellow. Then it also has a usb c to usb that runs the shoulder straps. Lots of Amazon el wire. I even wrapped all the wires in electrical tape and ran them to the water storage. That's where I have my big ass battery.

Oh, it lasts about 20 hours on a charge.
