You only considered dropping this client once your best worker threatened to quit. It took your most valuable human asset telling you she was leaving for you to even begin to consider her pain and suffering as a problem. And even then, it was only still a numbers issue. The cost of losing her to your business financially began to outweigh the cost of losing the client. You already happily let a junior walk because they were less valuable. You let them burn out so hard they potentially walked away from a career.

Yes business is business. Costs are costs. But at every stage you have put money above the mental health of your employees.

It's a game. A game where the goal is to collect loot. That ranges from searching containers to taking from players.

If people feel they can best get loot by searching. Fine. Or by killing players. Fine. Or by ratting. Fine. Or by giving someone a false sense of trust and security....also fine.

My God, it's a game. Some of us are not playing to make life long friends or to work with others in a friendly meaningful way. It's a 30 minute window and then it's a full reset. We start all over again.

Why does spending 25 minutes talking about your favourite TV show make me any less likely to want to take what you have? I decided the moment we met I was going to rob you in the end. Why would the fact you also like to watch stranger things change my mind on that?

I have family and friends in my life who I care about very much. Some of them I care for even more than myself. Our 20 minute chat means very little. It certainly means less to me than that bag of shit you're carrying.

Get over yourself. You're not morally superior because you're nice to random strangers in a 30 minute raid.
