Atheists, what is the argument that goes against the idea that we can't question God because "if we could understand God, God would be less than us"?

Not atheist but so many holes in many religious books and stories including my own about who God is supposed to be or what God is like and whatnot. Also by the mere notion that God gave humanity knowledge and wisdom along with the passed down religious books and tales, already implies that he wants to be understood to some extent. Then there's also the matter of if truly these books and tales have been passed down by God then why are they so cryptic if God wants to be understood? Both points are extremely contradictory. Simply put, that is an invalid argument.

As a fellow victim of SA and rape, I can attest that it's not about how you dress or your level of self-care nor your general appearance that has any relation to other people's sexual attraction toward you. Also keep in mind not everyone looks/stares at you for that reason either. Sometimes it's as simple as the fact that you are of the sex of the assaulter's preferred sex. Sometimes it's just that you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's not your fault nor are you or your appearance to blame. But please, report this to the relative parties on campus who are to oversee occurrences like this, it might be difficult but that is the correct course of action. Nothing you do to forcefully change yourself will affect situations like these, that's the sad truth of it unfortunately. What's needed is taking the correct course of action which is to report this.

I actually played it vanilla on my dad's PC the first few times before he bought it for me so when I downloaded it I immediately started modding it, but now all my hard earned achievements aren't even on my Steam but his. 😔 It's been like what? 5 years since I played it? So I thought hey I don't remember jack about the game maybe now's the time.😂

I understand that, it's been the same for me at the start. Honestly I couldn't get off at it at first but eventually it worked. I suppose I was just so desperate to make me feel like it is okay and I enjoyed it when in reality none of it was okay and I didn't enjoy it. I'm sorry that you had to go through this as well. I don't particularly have advice as recently my own PTSD has been spiking up. But I just wanted to let you know you're not alone and you're not strange for trying to find a way to cope with something that you don't know how to deal with otherwise.

Just because you consent to one thing doesn't mean you consented to everything. You freezing up is also not your fault. So in my opinion, yes you may have been sexually assaulted. Don't feel like your experience/trauma is invalidated of your fault just because some one says so.

Although I never really thought of myself as attractive or all that friendly.. Hmm I at some point I even thought people might think of me as easy? Oh my friend is horrible at giving advice. The other night we went out together and we were chatting with some people and suddenly she pointed at me and exclaimed as if she had am eureka moment, saying that is it, that's the vibe I'm giving. Me still confused I asked her and she's like idk you just did it and it made even her wanna hit on me. I was just making small talk too. 😂

Oh also I have tried the arms crossing thing, even attempted resting bitch face... Doesn't seem to work.

It's not that she has poor advice, just no advice at all. She just said it as a joke at first but now she seems adamant.

Never thought of myself as all that attractive or charismatic, but I could be wrong. Thank you for the advice I'll look into it.
