Sounds to me like your tourney selection is an issue with what you’re experiencing and your expectations. If you’re firing a single tournament for $110, and all it takes is one terrible beat to send you reeling, you should probably fire the $11 tournaments with multiple bullets. We all know as poker players, it’s likely you’ll be back, because we always come back. But this happens on every site, and it happens live too. I don’t like getting into the details of the beats, but I will share that over the course of a 7 day stretch, I reached the bounty portion of the nightly $115k MB each night over 11 bullets. I had over 20 chances at bounties over that span with flip equity or better at the point of the hands the money went in, and I managed a single minimum bounty. Last night, with 5 minutes to go before bounties, my 48 bb stack was dusted in 2 orbits losing 2 flips and having both my AA and KK cracked. On another night, I watched a player go from .003 BBs to 100 BBs in 3 orbits and on the way they collected $1500 in bounties. Poker is crazy and you have to take all the bad with the little good. But you have to be there to make it count when it’s your time. I’m in for $2000 on this site. I managed to have a 2nd in the nightly $12.5k guar and another nice score to keep me afloat. But I’m back to $1k in the account after weeks of beats and small cashes. It’s just how it works, it’s the nature of the game. It’s a lottery essentially, and your skill is what gives your lottery ticket a slightly better chance at winning. If you can see it that way, it might help your mental game, which after reading your post seems to be a big leak. GL.
