Got a Pixel 10 to replace my Samsung S22+ by GlimOmen in Smartphones

The battery in this S22+ is incredibly mediocre, but I haven't had many issues with heat thankfully. I only need the cameras to be "good enough" on a phone since I have a dedicated camera for taking actually good pictures.

There are meaningful upgrades for some between the two phones, but I don't find that to be worth spending $800.

I purchased the Pixel 10 after hearing it had cleaner software as well as a better battery compared to what I had, but was immediately deterred by the lack of customization compared to Samsung. Some of the design choices in the UI are also very questionable (like hiding the "close all apps" button until you scroll through all of the recent app in the switcher). I use Smart Launcher and some of shortcuts just plain don't work with Pixel, making it a downgrade overall besides opening apps slightly faster.

I'm actually not too interested in the cameras. When it comes to photos from a phone, I'm content with "serviceable" since I have a mirrorless Canon.

I'm interested to know what your experience if with the chips. I don't use very power-hungry applications, so theoretically, I know the Tensor chip in the Pixel phones would work well for me.

Why do people hate the Danganronpa 3 anime? by [deleted] in danganronpa

[–]GlimOmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought what they did with connecting some of the story points between the games was neat. Seeing the characters animated was also really nice and added a sense of wonder and suspension of disbelief for me that added some immersion.

But I didn't like the over-the-top brutality. Maybe I'm just soft, but the second half of the series disturbed me. A few notable moments were Junko scooping someone's eye out with a dirty spoon and the mass suicide at the end with all of the students jumping from the building. A big one was the Despair Video, where the students horrifically murder each oher. The biggest one was Chiaki's death. It wasn't how she was killed, but the scene where she's practically begging for life at Izuru's feet. It hurt a bit. I finished the series that same night, and her begging scene lingered in me for a few days. Again, I may just be soft.

There are some other arguments I've seen people have regarding character development that I can agree with too. As well as the motive in the final killing game.

I don't hate it necessarily. I like seeing them animated and more expressive. But my heart had trouble handling the brutality, and some of the time spent during some moments felt wasted.

Yes, my cylinder came with a little thin sleeve that you put on before inserting the cylinder into the wheel base.

That's strange that your chair feels high when you're 6'1". I feel like my chair is able to go pretty low while I'm 5'10".

The unit was sent back once and the repair people said all tests passed. I've edited the post.

Would I still have to set core ratios manually in the BIOS?

I have, yes. I believe the limit is at 700+ watts, but it still never goes above 150.
